After all, we get Leopard 8 hours before those saps in Cupertino. We just pay a little more for it. Any ideas?

randy, are you concluding this is false advertising?
No, the post I responded to talked about false advertising. I'm concluding two things:
1) Just because something isn't criminal doesn't mean it isn't illegal.
2) You don't necessarily need a grand jury to bring a criminal charge.
These conclusions have nothing to do with the ebay listing. The poster I responded to said something about a grand jury and false advertising.
Edit: As an "armchair lawyer," I would probably just sue for restitution. For the other armchair lawyers: Yes, restitution is a cause of action.

Why We're Screwed (http://www.businessinsider.com/why-the-us-is-screwed-2011-2#) (if we don't adapt quickly)
For the sake of this discussion, let's try to avoid actually talking about who is to blame or which political party is to blame, or which ideology is to blame... and just talk about the problem we're in, how bad it is, and what needs to be done to fix it. What sacrifices need to be made, and how quickly we need to make them. There's no more denying there's a problem. The only issue now is what the solution looks like.
Please avoid the blame game. Stay on topic so we can have a meaningful discussion about actual practical solutions.

While I disagree with the article's author when he says we don't spend too much on Education and Defense... he's 100% right about the MAIN problem.
What really busts our budget are the mind-boggling amounts we spend on our entitlement programs--Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid (especially Medicare and Medicaid). These programs are wildly more expensive than any other budget items, and they're also growing like weeds.
If we don't get Medicare and Medicaid expenses under control, the USA will go broke, pure and simple. And yet, almost no one in Washington has the stones to even talk about this, let alone do something about it. They just kick the can down the road.

This is really funny. Hello, I would like to introduce myself. I'm the infamous seller! :) How are you guys. It's funny that most people here are laughing about the stupidity of others like myself.
But anyway, this is in no way illegal. I would know, being a student of law. In addition, eBay AND PayPal have sided with me on this matter MULTIPLE times. The only time PayPal sided with the buyer was when they claimed they never got it and I had no shipping proof. The item is accurately described, end of story. Stop crying about it and be more responsible.
Just an ending note, I've made over $2,000 doing this before and used it to buy two amazing Les Pauls. ;)
Thanks!
- Dan
Are you the seller for this Iphone's photo? the seller name is Dan as well as you are.

I wish that Apple would get an indie band to perform instead of John Mayer or what ever his name is.
How about Wolf Parade, Modest Mouse, Broken Social Scene, Sleater-Kinney, Asobi Seksu...etc. Some band with more energy that appeals to the young, the independents.
IMO I don't think John Mayo is all that great of an artist. And that recent photo posted on MR does not do much to change my opinion.[/QUOTE]
Modest Mouse? Musically, I don't think they deserve that honour.

Hi, everyone
I've been searching around Google and this forum, but I can't seem to find any information on how to view comments in a Word document on the iPad
I would love to be able to this on my iPad, so if any of you knows how to, it would be great :)
Thanks in advance :)

Is rape wrong? Yes.
Is dressing provocatively stupid? Yes.
If i was walking down an alley in the middle of the night and if i was stabbed, then sure the suspect would be in trouble, but i would be the idiot for walking down that alley at night.
Why is dressing provocatively stupid? That's one of the many freedoms women enjoy in the western world, and i enjoy looking at them dressed that way. But I'm not gonna go and rape them. What you're saying confirms Muslim countries justification for sharia law. And I also find it insulting to males, because it says that if a women dresses provocatively then we have no self control and will rape them.

The logic remains problematic. It's like arguing that someone who was just in a car accident increased their chance of getting hurt by driving on the road in the first place. You are indeed blaming the victim.
No, the logic is more like blaming someone who didn't put a seatbelt on and died by flying through a windshield
You do realize that all social interactions are not business transactions right?
Not all social interactions need to be a chance for women to seduce men. When people constantly appeal to men's baser instincts why are they surprised when more men act on baser instincts?
The Burqua is worn to protect a woman's modesty and so they don't dress provocatively according to the standards of the country where the Burqua is worn.
Your views of what constitutes provocative dress is clearly less extreme than that but your opinion appears to be remarkably similar: "Women shouldn't dress provocatively."
It is wrong to make judgement of anyone based on how they are dressed: A woman (or man) may dress provocatively for a night out because they want to find a partner for the night or into the future. That doesn't mean they are an open door to any scumbag who thinks that they can violate them
The Burqa is as much about ownership as modesty, possibly more. Using a society where men buy their wives isn't a good comparison.
So the person is dressing slutty to get sex? Congratulations on confirming what I believe. The more you appeal to baser instincts the more people will act on said instincts...

For people who own the iPhone 4 and are happy with iPhone 5 being pushed back (so your phone still feel 'new'), this delay only means the iPhone 6 (the one that most of the iPhone 4 owners will be upgrading to) will also be pushed back when it comes to 2012. If Apple is going to release the iPhone 5 in September or later, the iPhone 6 will be out September 2012 at the earliest.
So basically, the whole timeline for bi-annual upgrade got screwed… (well, only for early buyers anyway.)
things are 'pushed back' only if there is an original promised date - which there isn't. But let's say there is an 'expected' mid-summer release, and the product actually came out in Sept; there's still nothing to say apple won't release another iPhone in mid-summer in 2012.
Basically it's all guess-work.
